Teri, these paintings are awesome. The silence and stillness in these images is palpable. I get this from your wave paintings as well but am especially moved by these because I can feel earth beneath my feet and a profound sense of place when I look at these. Thanks for the encouraging feedback, Margery. I go back and forth between working on water-inspired imagery and granite or earthy forms. The change in palette, and contrast of form vs. a flowing formlessness, keeps painting interesting. Both are real and abstract in their own ways.
